World Rafting Championship Timeline
This project is a visual timeline poster created to showcase the history and evolution of the World Rafting Championship (WRC) from its early beginnings to recent events. The design presents a chronological journey, highlighting key locations, years, and milestones of the championship across different countries.
From wild rivers to world stages, every current tells the story of champions flowing through time, uniting nations in the spirit of rafting.
The concept uses a flowing river illustration as the main visual metaphor, symbolizing both the sport of rafting and the continuous progression of the event over time. Each segment of the river represents a specific year and location, accompanied by stylized rafting icons and landscape elements to reflect the unique geographical identity of each host country.
The layout is carefully structured to maintain clarity while guiding the viewer’s eye naturally along the timeline. Color coding and section grouping are applied to distinguish different phases of the championship, such as Project RAFT, WRC, and Camel White Water Challenge eras.
Overall, the design combines informative content with engaging visuals, aiming to communicate historical data in a dynamic, easy-to-understand, and visually appealing format suitable for promotional and educational purposes.
